DFMA GUIDED ANALYSIS

A DFMA Guided Analysis is specifically designed to provide participants with fast results and an immediate payback. This is accomplished with a full session devoted to performing team-oriented DFMA product costing and simplification analyses and redesign on participants' individual company products. Invariably, participants leave the session with a new vision of ways to improve the manufacturing efficiency and quality of their own products and appreciate why DFMA is an important part of the design process.

• Benchmark DFA product simplification analysis
• Brainstorming ideas for the purposes of redesign
• Redesign analysis of your product to show potential savings
• Overview of the DFM Concurrent Costing software features and functions
• Cost analysis of your parts
• Redesign analysis of your parts to show potential savings
• Review and evaluate results

DELIVERABLES

At the end of most sessions concrete results will be achieved.  A rollup of the total cost savings is typical, along with an outline of the next steps required to achieve them.

LOCATION

DFMA Guided Analysis are conducted at BDI Rhode Island (directions) for groups up to a maximum of four, and are conducted at your location for groups up to a maximum of eight.
